This beautiful flower is Tulip, an 8-year-old purebred Dachshund that was surrendered to a local high-volume animal control facility when her owner could no longer care for her. Tulip weighs about 17 pounds and is a true hot dog – long body, stubby legs and all! Tulip's whole world has been turned upside down after losing her person, so you can imagine she's stressed and untrusting. Slowly but surely, she is making friends and is looking forward to being in a permanent home very soon. She is crate-trained and puppy-pad trained and generally a low-maintenance gal.
Interested in meeting this lovely bloom? Contact Perfect Pooch to meet her!
All pets being fostered through our friends at Perfect Pooch will receive free training for 30 days! Best of all, Tulip’s adoption fee is sponsored, which means she's FREE to a great home.
Meet Husky/Shepherd blend Rose, viagra who made her way to Providence Animal Center’s Adoption Center when her owner sadly surrendered her. This snow-white beauty is the perfect winter companion; her soft fur will keep you warm on a cold December night, sales and she would look stunning romping around in freshly fallen snow.
Rose would do best as the only pet in a quiet, adult-only home that will give her strong leadership and lots of love as well. Though she needs an owner with some previous Shepherd experience, she already knows the “sit” and “stay” commands, and she is housetrained to boot, so some of her training has already been done for you!
Get ready for a heart-warming Happy Tail!
Many of our followers will remember long-time homeless dog James Dean, a Pit Bull/Hound mix who was rescued from an overcrowded shelter in Philadelphia in December. This devilishly handsome canine was popular with Providence Animal Center staff members; he bonded particularly well with Front Desk employee Amanda, who knew what a deserving dog he really was. We all hoped for a great life for our James. After months of waiting for the perfect adopters, we're happy to announce that James has found his forever family and is doing wonderfully in his new home!
