Dr. LeAndra Thompson is our Associate Director of Clinic Services. Dr. Thompson is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Veterinary Medicine. Her previous positions include being an emergency and critical care veterinarian at Keystone Veterinary Emergency & Referral and at the Pennsylvania SPCA, Medical Director for Operation Ava Animal Rescue (now known as Saved Me Animal Rescue) and The Pet Mechanic Small Animal Veterinary Clinic in Philadelphia. Dr. Thompson joined Providence Animal Center in 2010 and has enjoyed being part of the team ever since. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and is a USDA-accredited veterinarian. Her interests include shelter medicine and educating pet owners about preventative care. From childhood, all of her personal pets have been rescues from shelters, the latest being a sweet mixed-breed dog named Xyla whom she adopted from PAC.
