Dr. Kyle Black joined us full time in 2021 after volunteering and working at Providence Animal Center since 2018. Originally from Missouri, he went to veterinary schools at Tufts University in Massachusetts and then completed a one-year small animal rotating internship at the University of Pennsylvania. After completing his internship, he went on work full time as an Emergency Doctor and relief in a variety of other clinics and shelters. Dr. Black is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society. He enjoys emergency medicine, soft tissue surgery, and wound management. Downtown Philadelphia has been home since moving to Pennsylvania, which he shares with his Persian named Ardi and Sphynx named Ara.
