Dr. Krish Quarberg joined our lifesaving team in 2021. Growing up in Richmond, Virginia, she went to undergraduate school in Williamsburg at The College of William and Mary for Chemistry. She then went on to veterinary school at Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in Blacksburg, VA. After graduating, she worked as a general practitioner in private practice, and then moved on to shelter medicine to find her passion. She spent 10 years in Portland, Oregon and loved every minute of it.
Her interests focus on feline medicine, preventative medicine, and shelter medicine.
She is a new honeybee keeper, and is in love with her honeybees in her backyard. She says that honeybee veterinary medicine is pretty neat!
She spends her time with her husband, son, and feline family members. She likes to knit warm, cozy things, cooking (mostly baking) and reading when she gets the chance. She loves to be outdoors in beautiful West Virginia, and they find their way there pretty much whenever they can.
