RAFFERTY RESCUE PET OF THE WEEK: Greg

Well hi there! My name is Greg, and I think it’s pretty paw-some to meet you! I’m a big boy who is looking for an amazing home to call my own – do you think that could paw-ssibly be with you?! I’ve been dreaming of my adoption day, so let me tell you a little more about me in case you can make my dreams come true!

I’m an Philly native, around 6-years-old and around 82 pounds of loveable goofball! I love long walks where I can sniff to my heart’s content and humans who want to give me all the pets. I can be a little shy at first but once I come around I’m very affectionate. I think I would do well in a suburban or non-city neighborhood and could possibly go home with the right doggy sibling, but I’d like to meet the whole family first to see if it’s a match! I do best with kids high-school aged and up and I like ALL scratches, especially on my bum. I also like to act like a cat by leaning into your legs while observing my surroundings. I don’t mind the car so much these days, I just appreciate assistance while getting in. To be fair, I’m pretty big and sometimes it’s hard to get myself up that high. The next time I jump in a car (or try to) I would love for it to be to my Furever home! Come in to Providence Animal Center soon to meet me… I think we’re future besties and there’s only one way to find out!
