Hola!  Thank you for stopping by to read about me! I recently joined the adoptable doggy crew at Providence Animal Center's lifesaving facility from an overcrowded shelter in Florida. I came to PAC with a fractured front leg that just wasn't healing correctly. So PAC's awesome medical staff were able to removed my leg, so I could be more comfortable. I am adjusting well to the tri-pawd life and now I am ready for a home of my very own!

My name is Zorro, and I'm around 3 years old and about 58 pounds. I'm all set to join my new family – already:

  • neutered
  • microchipped
  • up to date on vaccinations

I have been enjoying some rest and relaxation at one of PAC's fantastic foster homes.  They report that I am a snuggle bug like… I could snuggle with you all day if you let me. I'm also bilingual. I know the Spanish commands for down, sit, come, drop it, let's go, and games. So cool right? I'm also crate and potty trained (though regression is expected with a change of environment, but keeping a routine helps my adjust to my new home). I will ring the bell or make some noise, so you know I'm ready to do my business.  I would love a home with a fenced it yard. I'm still learning that the world and especially the cars are not meant to be scary.

The staff think that I could live with the right kitty or dog roommate with a slow and proper introduction. I'm an attention getter which works out great for me because I love meeting new friends. I'm playful and a workaholic. I aim to please! So what do you say? BFFs, heck yeah.

I am currently hanging out in a loving foster home. I am enjoying romping around with my foster doggie siblings, so I could live with the right doggo roommate. If you are interested in learning more about me or meeting me in person, please fill out the inquiry form below. Then my people will call your people!

P.S. Someone is so excited for me to find my fur-ever home, that they have sponsored my adoption fee! That means I can join your family today for FREE! Woohoo!!

How to Adopt

Walk-in adoptions are back at PAC! Stop by our Adoption Center during our hours of operation Tuesday-Sunday to meet our available pets. Be sure to check the LOCATION of the pet you are interested in prior to coming in because some pets currently reside in foster homes. To meet a pet in a foster home, a meeting must be set up with our foster coordinator by filling out the adoption profile in the pet's bio.

View most of our adoptable dogs here and cats through this link. Once you see a pet you like, follow the instructions in his/her bio to schedule a meeting. For updates about when puppies & kittens will be available, be sure to follow us on Facebook.

Thank you for your understanding and please consider donating today to help our lifesaving work continue during this challenging time!

Even If You Can't Adopt, You Can Still Help!

Foster Zorro

Foster parents are always needed for kittens, dogs and puppies. Some pets need as little as 2 weeks of care while others may need a few months.

No matter how little or as much time as you can dedicate, there’s an animal that would benefit from your help.

Sponsor Zorro

Your generous sponsorship will help cover the cost of the adoption package. It will also waive the chosen animal’s adoption fee!

Pet sponsors receive updates about their sponsored pet and will be notified when that animal has found his or her forever home.
