“Oh hello there! My name is Xena and I found my way to Providence Animal Center's lifesaving facility all the way from Puerto Rico! Life has not always been a walk in the park for me, but now things are really looking up! While I was used to fending for myself in Puerto Rico, here at PAC I am learning how great it is to have people that are watching out for me too.
One of my favorite people who is looking out for me is my new foster mom! She is letting me relax with her since I was pretty scared being in an unfamiliar place. She says I am just the sweetest pup! I can be pretty shy, especially with new people and things, but one thing I am not shy about is other dogs! I just love getting to be around them and play with them. My foster mom brings me to puppy playgroups at the center, and I just LOVE this! Since they are helping to teach me about life up here in the USA, I would like my new family to have a friendly canine that can be my role model too! Oh, and a fenced-in yard would be great too! Extra playtime and space to stretch my legs. I also wouldn't mind some kid pals who are at least 10 years old.
While I love being in a foster home, I would also love to find my forever home! So if you think that I am the pup for you, all you have to do is email an adoption application to email@example.com! I even included the link to find the application 🙂 https://providenceac.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/PROV_Dog-Adoption-App_2017.pdf. See how helpful I can be? Hoping to hear from you soon! XOXO~Xena”
Providence Animal Center relies on adoption fees and donations to save pets! Adoption fees vary per pet. To find out this pet’s adoption fee or for more information, please call the Adoption Center with this pet’s ID number.
Come stop by! We highly encourage prospective adopters to visit the Adoption Center as many times as they like to find the best pet to match their home and lifestyle. It’s our goal to make a perfect match the first time! Once you find a pet and fall in love, our trained adoption associates & counselors will be happy to assist you with the adoption process.
Foster parents are always needed for kittens, dogs and puppies. Some pets need as little as 2 weeks of care while others may need a few months.
No matter how little or as much time as you can dedicate, there’s an animal that would benefit from your help.
Your generous sponsorship will help cover the cost of the adoption package. It will also waive the chosen animal’s adoption fee!
Pet sponsors receive updates about their sponsored pet and will be notified when that animal has found his or her forever home.
