WOOF! Thank you for stopping by to read about me. I recently joined the adoptable doggy crew at Providence Animal Center's lifesaving facility from an overcrowded shelter in North Carolina. I am hoping you will stop by soon to meet me in person!

My name is Victor, and I'm around 1 year old and about 55 pounds. I'm all set to join my new family – already:

  • neutered
  • microchipped
  • up to date on vaccinations

The staff feels I could live with children high school aged and older. I have met some other homeless doggos here at the center and I could live with the right doggo roommate. I also met some kitty cats and I think I could live with the right kitty roommate who is dog-savvy. I'm an old soul and would love to have a quiet and calm home. My friends describe me as: shy, sweet, misunderstood, independent, cuddly, playful & sensitive.

Everyone here at PAC is still learning more about me, so please stop by the center today – no appointment is necessary. My paws are crossed I will see you very soon! XOXO

P.S. A generous donor has sponsored my adoption fee. That means I can go home with you today for FREE! Yippee!

How to Adopt

Walk-in adoptions are back at PAC! Stop by our Adoption Center during our hours of operation Tuesday-Sunday to meet our available pets. Be sure to check the LOCATION of the pet you are interested in prior to coming in because some pets currently reside in foster homes. To meet a pet in a foster home, a meeting must be set up with our foster coordinator by filling out the adoption profile in the pet's bio.

View most of our adoptable dogs here and cats through this link. Once you see a pet you like, follow the instructions in his/her bio to schedule a meeting. For updates about when puppies & kittens will be available, be sure to follow us on Facebook.

Thank you for your understanding and please consider donating today to help our lifesaving work continue during this challenging time!

Even If You Can't Adopt, You Can Still Help!

Foster Victor

Foster parents are always needed for kittens, dogs and puppies. Some pets need as little as 2 weeks of care while others may need a few months.

No matter how little or as much time as you can dedicate, there’s an animal that would benefit from your help.

Sponsor Victor

Your generous sponsorship will help cover the cost of the adoption package. It will also waive the chosen animal’s adoption fee!

Pet sponsors receive updates about their sponsored pet and will be notified when that animal has found his or her forever home.
