Gender: Male

Size: Large

Age: Young Adult

Howdy! My name is Trapper and it’s nice to meet you! I traveled to Providence Animal Center from an overcrowded facility in North Carolina. Shortly after arriving here, I was whisked away to a wonderful foster home while I wait for my forever family to come my way! I am approximately 2 years old and weigh around 40lbs. My foster dad has been hanging out with me and teaching me what the spoiled dog life is all about! So far my favorite thing is my Kong toy filled with peanut butter and treats…oh do I just LOVE peanut butter. My foster dad says his favorite thing about me is my easy going temperament…oh shucks! I walk very nicely on my leash, so I would make a great walking and hiking buddy. I also have enjoyed playing with the other dogs during playgroups, so I think I could live with the right canine friend. My foster dad says I greet neighbors, other dogs and even kids nicely while out walking around. And at the end of the day, I love getting snuggles and attention. I am working on house training, crate training and some other basic commands with my foster dad! I would love to continue working on all of that with you too 🙂 Well what do you say? Are you ready to fall head over heels in love with a silly youngster like me? If so, just email a completed application to my new friends at foster@providenceac.org and they will take it from there! I hope to hear from you soon! My paws are crossed!
Lots of Love, Trapper

Even If You Can't Adopt, You Can Still Help!

    Foster Trapper

Foster parents are always needed for kittens, dogs and puppies. Some pets need as little as 2 weeks of care while others may need a few months.

No matter how little or as much time as you can dedicate, there’s an animal that would benefit from your help.

    Sponsor Trapper

Your generous sponsorship will help cover the cost of the adoption package. It will also waive the chosen animal’s adoption fee!

Pet sponsors receive updates about their sponsored pet and will be notified when that animal has found his or her forever home.
