“Howdy there! My name is Tico, it’s nice to meet you (virtually)! I’m a young dude, only around 1 year and a half old and weigh approximately 38lbs! I came to Providence Animal Center last winter and through no fault of my own, found my way back to Providence this summer as my previous home just wasn’t working out. I’m the package deal—I am up-to-date on all necessary vaccines, neutered & micro-chipped!

I’m a very active pup – I love positive, constructive, structured activities like walks, jogs, and hikes multiple times a day. Explorer is my second name – I love to discover new things in the world and love to get rewarded for discovering great things and behaving well. I love squeaky toys and pigs ears. I also enjoy lots of puzzle toys and engaging mental fun – but like many active dogs, I also enjoy my down time – I’d be happy to hang out in my crate too after a long day of exercise with a frozen kong – so yummy!

I enjoy playing with other dogs, sometimes I get too overly excited with other dogs, so if I can’t share my home with another dog, doggy daycare would be a great option!

Well, with that said, I think it’s clear I’m a pretty spectacular dog and would love to share my love with you! Please stop by the Adoption Center today to fall in love! xoxo Tico

Providence Animal Center relies on adoption fees and donations to save pets! Adoption fees vary per pet. To find out this pet’s adoption fee or for more information, please call the Adoption Center with this pet’s ID number.

Even If You Can't Adopt, You Can Still Help!

    Foster Tico

Foster parents are always needed for kittens, dogs and puppies. Some pets need as little as 2 weeks of care while others may need a few months.

No matter how little or as much time as you can dedicate, there’s an animal that would benefit from your help.

    Sponsor Tico

Your generous sponsorship will help cover the cost of the adoption package. It will also waive the chosen animal’s adoption fee!

Pet sponsors receive updates about their sponsored pet and will be notified when that animal has found his or her forever home.
