Howdy y'all! Thank you for stopping by to read about me! I recently joined the adoptable doggy crew at Providence Animal Center's lifesaving facility from an overcrowded shelter in North Carolina. I am hoping you will stop by soon to meet me in person!
My name is Snowball, and I'm around 1 year old and about 52 pounds. I'm all set to join my new family – already:
The staff feels I would do best in a quiet home with hoomans college aged and older. I am a little shy & sensitive, so I need someone who will give me the time to open up. I would really love a fenced-in yard in my forever home. During my time at the center, I have met some other doggos and I could live with the right dog roommate.
The staff & volunteers are still learning more about me, but Providence Animal Center's adoption center has scenic and serene grounds where you can walk me around and get to know me in person.
So, if you are interested in meeting me, please stop by the center today – no appointment is necessary. My paws are crossed I will see you very soon! ~Snowball
Adoption center hours of operation are: Tuesday-Friday: 12–7PM, Saturday & Sunday: 12–5PM, closed Monday.
Providence Animal Center relies on adoption fees and donations to save pets! Adoption fees vary per pet. To find out this pet’s adoption fee or for more information, please call the Adoption Center with this pet’s ID number.
It's so easy to adopt from PAC- once a match is made, you fill out an application and can go home the same day with your new pet! Visit our how to adopt section to learn more about our adoption process.
Walk-in adoptions are back at PAC! Stop by our Adoption Center during our hours of operation Tuesday-Sunday to meet our available pets. Be sure to check the LOCATION of the pet you are interested in prior to coming in because some pets currently reside in foster homes. To meet a pet in a foster home, a meeting must be set up with our foster coordinator by filling out the adoption profile in the pet's bio.
View most of our adoptable dogs here and cats through this link. Once you see a pet you like, follow the instructions in his/her bio to schedule a meeting. For updates about when puppies & kittens will be available, be sure to follow us on Facebook.
Thank you for your understanding and please consider donating today to help our lifesaving work continue during this challenging time!
Foster parents are always needed for kittens, dogs and puppies. Some pets need as little as 2 weeks of care while others may need a few months.
No matter how little or as much time as you can dedicate, there’s an animal that would benefit from your help.
Your generous sponsorship will help cover the cost of the adoption package. It will also waive the chosen animal’s adoption fee!
Pet sponsors receive updates about their sponsored pet and will be notified when that animal has found his or her forever home.
