Hiya! Have you ever seen a dog as adorable as me?! Can you believe I’m homeless and am waiting for a wonderful person or family to adopt me? Great dogs like me end up in animal shelters every day- I know, it’s so hard to believe but it’s true!
My name is Shelton, and I just joined the adoptable doggy crew at Providence Animal Center. I'm around 7 years old, about 27 pounds, and I'm all set to move right into your heart & home today – already neutered, microchipped & up to date on vaccinations.
The staff and volunteers are still getting to know me, but so far they think I would love a home with a fenced in yard to romp around. I probably wouldn't mind a dog or cat friend or kids 12+, so don't forget to bring the entire family when you come to meet me!

How to Adopt
Walk-in adoptions are back at PAC! Stop by our Adoption Center during our hours of operation Tuesday-Sunday to meet our available pets. Be sure to check the LOCATION of the pet you are interested in prior to coming in because some pets currently reside in foster homes. To meet a pet in a foster home, a meeting must be set up with our foster coordinator by filling out the adoption profile in the pet's bio.

Foster parents are always needed for kittens, dogs and puppies. Some pets need as little as 2 weeks of care while others may need a few months.
No matter how little or as much time as you can dedicate, there’s an animal that would benefit from your help.

Your generous sponsorship will help cover the cost of the adoption package. It will also waive the chosen animal’s adoption fee!
Pet sponsors receive updates about their sponsored pet and will be notified when that animal has found his or her forever home.
