Oh, hi there! My name is Sammy, and I am patiently waiting for my forever family from the comfort of a wonderful foster home! I'm around 2 years old, about 81 pounds, and I'm all set to move right into your heart & home today – already:
You looking for sweet? Got it! Cuddly? Got that too! Playful? Well that's the trifecta! I'm also described as an attention-getter, comedian, and socialite. If you have a resident dog at home, we could probably be buddies, but no four-legged feline roommates for this doggo, please. I've also mastered crate training! Hanging out with high school aged kids and older would also be a-ok with me!
I recently got to spend some time outside the center on a sleepover. They said I'm a strong girl but quite lovely and quick to learn.
If you are interested in meeting me in person, please fill out the adoption profile below. My paws are crossed I will see you very soon!
XOXO – Sammy
P.S. Someone is so excited for me to find my forever home that they sponsored my adoption fee. That means I can go to the right home for FREE! Wahoo!Â

Adoption center hours of operation are: Tuesday-Friday: 12–7PM, Saturday & Sunday: 12–5PM, closed Monday.
Providence Animal Center relies on adoption fees and donations to save pets! Adoption fees vary per pet. To find out this pet’s adoption fee or for more information, please call the Adoption Center with this pet’s ID number.
It's so easy to adopt from PAC- once a match is made, you fill out an application and can go home the same day with your new pet! Visit our how to adopt section to learn more about our adoption process.
Walk-in adoptions are back at PAC! Stop by our Adoption Center during our hours of operation Tuesday-Sunday to meet our available pets. Be sure to check the LOCATION of the pet you are interested in prior to coming in because some pets currently reside in foster homes. To meet a pet in a foster home, a meeting must be set up with our foster coordinator by filling out the adoption profile in the pet's bio.
View most of our adoptable dogs here and cats through this link. Once you see a pet you like, follow the instructions in his/her bio to schedule a meeting. For updates about when puppies & kittens will be available, be sure to follow us on Facebook.
Thank you for your understanding and please consider donating today to help our lifesaving work continue during this challenging time!
Foster parents are always needed for kittens, dogs and puppies. Some pets need as little as 2 weeks of care while others may need a few months.
No matter how little or as much time as you can dedicate, there’s an animal that would benefit from your help.
Your generous sponsorship will help cover the cost of the adoption package. It will also waive the chosen animal’s adoption fee!
Pet sponsors receive updates about their sponsored pet and will be notified when that animal has found his or her forever home.
