Hello friends! My name is Ruby! While I’m not from Kansas, I am from a local, overcrowded facility and am now safe and sound here at Providence Animal Center while I wait for my new forever family to scoop me up! I am approximately 2 years old and weigh around 50lbs. I love life and am ready to take on the world with my new family! I love to go on adventures and explore new things and I can’t think of a better way to do that than with big or little humans at my side! I am a social butterfly who loves to meet new people, go for walks, hikes, runs, and to LEARN!!! I would love to build on my skills and learn all the basic things a great dog should know – maybe we could try some obedience classes and other fun stuff – people here keep saying I would be great at nose work or maybe even agility?! I really like to keep busy so let’s find lots of fun activities we can do together as new best friends. I got to go for a sleep over with a wonderful volunteer while I was here and I’m happy to say that I’m reported to be house trained and crate trained! I love to play with toys and am quite food motivated -treats are so yummy! Oh yeah, I am told I should tell you that I’m already spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and micro-chipped which means I’m ready to go home with my forever family today! To meet me, all you have to do is come visit Providence Animal Center during adoption hours -no appointment necessary! Hope to see you soon! xoxo Ruby
*P.S. Someone is so excited for me to find my forever home, that they have sponsored my adoption fee! That means I can join your family today for FREE!*

Foster parents are always needed for kittens, dogs and puppies. Some pets need as little as 2 weeks of care while others may need a few months.
No matter how little or as much time as you can dedicate, there’s an animal that would benefit from your help.
Your generous sponsorship will help cover the cost of the adoption package. It will also waive the chosen animal’s adoption fee!
Pet sponsors receive updates about their sponsored pet and will be notified when that animal has found his or her forever home.
