Hi there! I’m Ru Paw, also known as Freddie Fingers! I got this nickname because I’m always reaching out to the volunteers for love. I absolutely love affection, belly scratches, neck scratches – you name it and I’m game. I’m also game for outdoor activities. There are some really great parks in the local area that I’ve visited with some of the great volunteers at PAC. I enjoy taking in all the sites, smells and trails, so I can go for a couple of miles if you’re up for it!
When not out on trails, I’m interested in mental stimulation too if you have a puzzle mat I can play with! I’m young – only around 11 months old – so my positive energy needs multiple avenues to explore. Even though I’m young, I’m already pretty good with this whole potty-training thing. I know, right? I pat myself on the back for that one!
Even though I’ll miss the lovely staff and volunteers, I’m ready to have a family of my own! I could likely live with the right doggy pal, and I would do best in a cat-free home with kiddos 10 years or older. Hmmm, maybe I like their toys too much. Anyway, are you ready for me to join your family? Just go here and set up an appointment to meet me! I’m in one of the first kennels, so you can’t miss me. I’m the one with the big pointy ears and beautiful caramel colored coat…and there's a good chance I'll be reaching out to hold your hand, too.
XO Ru Paw
P.S. I'm about 45 pounds and all set to move-in – already neutered, microchipped & up to date on vaccinations.
P.S.S. I almost forgot the BIG NEWS: A generous donor is eager to help me find my forever home, so they have sponsored my adoption fee! That means I can join your family today for FREE! YAY!
During your appointment, you will be able to meet a selection of pets in the Kennels or Cattery that day. New pets are arriving daily!
Please note: Some pets are still in fabulous foster homes, so be sure to check the pet’s ‘location’ in their listing prior to scheduling an appointment. To meet a pet currently in a foster home, follow the instructions listed in their bio. Thank you for your flexibility during this challenging time! We can’t wait to see your masked face!
Providence Animal Center relies on adoption fees and donations to save pets! Adoption fees vary per pet.
We are offering adoptions by appointment only at this time. View most of our adoptable dogs here and cats through this link. Once you see a pet you like, follow the instructions in his/her bio to schedule a meeting. For updates about when puppies & kittens will be available, be sure to follow us on Facebook.
Thank you for your understanding and please consider donating today to help our lifesaving work continue during this challenging time!
Foster parents are always needed for kittens, dogs and puppies. Some pets need as little as 2 weeks of care while others may need a few months.
No matter how little or as much time as you can dedicate, there’s an animal that would benefit from your help.
Your generous sponsorship will help cover the cost of the adoption package. It will also waive the chosen animal’s adoption fee!
Pet sponsors receive updates about their sponsored pet and will be notified when that animal has found his or her forever home.
