Royce's story is one of caution and care; he thrives in an adult-only, quiet, low-traffic home, far from the hustle of city life or apartments. Crate trained and friendly with select dogs, he's ready to form lasting canine friendships. However, Royce politely declines any cat companions. His shy and nervous disposition calls for a patient, understanding owner, willing to provide a safe haven where he can blossom at his own pace. If you're ready to offer Royce the serenity and love he craves, watch this timid pup transform into a loyal and affectionate companion.

The staff & volunteers are still learning about me, but Providence Animal Center's adoption center has scenic and serene grounds where you can walk me around and get to know me in person.

How to Adopt
Walk-in adoptions are back at PAC! Stop by our Adoption Center during our hours of operation Tuesday-Sunday to meet our available pets. Be sure to check the LOCATION of the pet you are interested in prior to coming in because some pets currently reside in foster homes. To meet a pet in a foster home, a meeting must be set up with our foster coordinator by filling out the adoption profile in the pet's bio.
View most of our adoptable dogs here and cats through this link. Once you see a pet you like, follow the instructions in his/her bio to schedule a meeting. For updates about when puppies & kittens will be available, be sure to follow us on Facebook.

Foster parents are always needed for kittens, dogs and puppies. Some pets need as little as 2 weeks of care while others may need a few months.
No matter how little or as much time as you can dedicate, there’s an animal that would benefit from your help.

Your generous sponsorship will help cover the cost of the adoption package. It will also waive the chosen animal’s adoption fee!
Pet sponsors receive updates about their sponsored pet and will be notified when that animal has found his or her forever home.
