Oh hey there! Thank you for stopping by to read about me. I recently joined the adoptable doggy crew at Providence Animal Center's lifesaving facility. I was rescued by the humane law enforcement officer here at PAC when I was abandoned by my previous owner. I was found with wounds, burns and pretty underweight. The medical staff here has been amazing and nursed me back to health. Now I am ready for a home of my very own and I am hoping you will stop by soon to meet me in person!
My name is Raven, and I'm around 3 and 1/2 years old and about 42 pounds. I'm all set to join my new family – already:
The staff feels I could live with children middle school aged and older. I have met some other doggos here at the center and I could live with the right doggie roommate. Those pesky cats on the other hand, I could do without them…we just don't see eye-to-eye. I am described as sweet & playful.
I am currently living it up in an amazing foster home! My foster family reports that I am polite on the leash, though I do get excited when I see other dogs and people because they all could be my future best friends! I have been a perfect guest and have been allowed to free range during the day. My routine is to tackle the toys (if I get a little crazy… rip them up) and get my beauty rest on the couch.
If you're interested in meeting me, call or better yet stop by the center today! No appointment necessary!
XOXO – Raven
P.S. A generous donor has sponsored my adoption fee. That means I can join your family today at no cost. YAY!
Adoption center hours of operation are: Tuesday-Friday: 12–7PM, Saturday & Sunday: 12–5PM, closed Monday.
Providence Animal Center relies on adoption fees and donations to save pets! Adoption fees vary per pet. To find out this pet’s adoption fee or for more information, please call the Adoption Center with this pet’s ID number.
It's so easy to adopt from PAC- once a match is made, you fill out an application and can go home the same day with your new pet! Visit this link to learn more about our adoption process.
Walk-in adoptions are back at PAC! Stop by our Adoption Center during our hours of operation Tuesday-Sunday to meet our available pets. Be sure to check the LOCATION of the pet you are interested in prior to coming in because some pets currently reside in foster homes. To meet a pet in a foster home, a meeting must be set up with our foster coordinator by filling out the adoption profile in the pet's bio.
View most of our adoptable dogs here and cats through this link. Once you see a pet you like, follow the instructions in his/her bio to schedule a meeting. For updates about when puppies & kittens will be available, be sure to follow us on Facebook.
Thank you for your understanding and please consider donating today to help our lifesaving work continue during this challenging time!
Foster parents are always needed for kittens, dogs and puppies. Some pets need as little as 2 weeks of care while others may need a few months.
No matter how little or as much time as you can dedicate, there’s an animal that would benefit from your help.
Your generous sponsorship will help cover the cost of the adoption package. It will also waive the chosen animal’s adoption fee!
Pet sponsors receive updates about their sponsored pet and will be notified when that animal has found his or her forever home.
