Looking to make a huge difference in the life of a dog that truly needs a hero? Rami Malek needs your help, so please consider reading more and then applying to save him!
Brought to Providence Animal Center in early January by our Humane Police Officer, Malek lived a life outside without proper food, water or shelter. What a sad life for such a social boy – when anyone pays attention to him, he goes crazy with happiness! He loves to walk outside on the trails and absolutely loves making new dog friends on the Center grounds.
Malek came to PAC untrained with no concept about how to properly greet new friends – people and dogs alike. With daily work he continues to improve by leaps and bounds and is now one of the more pleasurable dogs to take out for a stroll! He’s become a superstar in our doggie playgroups and has helped some dogs that didn’t seem to like other dogs make a friend. He is very polite and social and when another dog wants to wrestle, he’ll be the first to jump right in and have a fun, playful wrestling match! Malek enjoys water and if you check out his pictures, you’ll see he had an awesome day at the dog beach.
Malek has been our resident “project pooch” since arriving to PAC and our work is slowly but surely paying off. Over the short time he’s been with us he’s now listening to instruction like “sit” and is able to lay down and relax for a few moments at a time. We are so pleased at the progress we’ve made with Malek and hope to find him a home willing to continue his training and acclimation to a more normal dog life (inside!).
Recently Malek went to a foster home and he’s reported to be crate trained, good in the car, great with the resident dog, friendly to visitors to the home and overall a cuddly, affectionate 50 pound lap dog.
The training & behavior team at PAC will fully support Malek’s new humans step-by-step to ensure he continues to progress in the right direction. If you would like more information about fostering or adopting Malek, please contact Dayna at email@example.com.
P.S. Someone loves Rami Malek so much and wants him to have the best start to his forever life, that they have sponsored his adoption fee! That means this handsome gentleman can join your family at no fee!

Come stop by! We highly encourage prospective adopters to visit the Adoption Center as many times as they like to find the best pet to match their home and lifestyle. It’s our goal to make a perfect match the first time! Once you find a pet and fall in love, our trained adoption associates & counselors will be happy to assist you with the adoption process.
Foster parents are always needed for kittens, dogs and puppies. Some pets need as little as 2 weeks of care while others may need a few months.
No matter how little or as much time as you can dedicate, there’s an animal that would benefit from your help.
Your generous sponsorship will help cover the cost of the adoption package. It will also waive the chosen animal’s adoption fee!
Pet sponsors receive updates about their sponsored pet and will be notified when that animal has found his or her forever home.
