Hi, Hi. HIIIIIII!
My name is Raisin Bran or some call me Tank, and I just joined the adoptable doggy crew at Providence Animal Center from Florida. I'm around 1 year old, about 43 pounds, and I'm all set to move right into your heart & home today – already neutered, microchipped & up to date on vaccinations.
The staff and volunteers are still getting to know me, but my previous shelter had the following things to say about me:
“Tank is very sweet and affectionate with people. He can be shy at first but quickly comes out of his shell. He is high energy and loves the playgroups. We think he would do best with another dog to play with. He is known around the office as the counter surfer, but heck, everyone is allowed one flaw. He does great in his crate and is quiet. He is mostly house trained, so some more work just to reinforce the skill. Funny trait — he hoards toys.”
So what do you say — BFF material? The staff would love to match you with your new best friend forever – and hopefully that's me! If you are interested in meeting me in person, please stop by the adoption center today – no appointment is necessary. My paws are crossed I will see you very soon!
Tail wags and smiles,
Adoption center hours of operation are: Tuesday-Friday: 12–7PM, Saturday & Sunday: 12–5PM, closed Monday.
Providence Animal Center relies on adoption fees and donations to save pets! Adoption fees vary per pet. To find out this pet’s adoption fee or for more information, please call the Adoption Center with this pet’s ID number.
It's so easy to adopt from PAC- once a match is made, you fill out an application and can go home the same day with your new pet! Visit https://providenceac.org/adopt/how-to-adopt/ to learn more about our adoption process.
Walk-in adoptions are back at PAC! Stop by our Adoption Center during our hours of operation Tuesday-Sunday to meet our available pets. Be sure to check the LOCATION of the pet you are interested in prior to coming in because some pets currently reside in foster homes. To meet a pet in a foster home, a meeting must be set up with our foster coordinator by filling out the adoption profile in the pet's bio.
View most of our adoptable dogs here and cats through this link. Once you see a pet you like, follow the instructions in his/her bio to schedule a meeting. For updates about when puppies & kittens will be available, be sure to follow us on Facebook.
Thank you for your understanding and please consider donating today to help our lifesaving work continue during this challenging time!
Foster parents are always needed for kittens, dogs and puppies. Some pets need as little as 2 weeks of care while others may need a few months.
No matter how little or as much time as you can dedicate, there’s an animal that would benefit from your help.
Your generous sponsorship will help cover the cost of the adoption package. It will also waive the chosen animal’s adoption fee!
Pet sponsors receive updates about their sponsored pet and will be notified when that animal has found his or her forever home.
