My name is Penny, but I’m worth a whole lot more! I can prove it to you if you let me.
I’m about 2 years old and 55 pounds, and I came all the way from Puerto Rico– pretty sweet right?! Speaking of sweet, my PAC friends tell me I’m the sweetest girl ever. They also describe me as gentle, shy and independent.
I’m not much of a city girl. I’d be more content in a calm and peaceful environment free from a lot of commotion. I would also like to be free from any cats– they’re weirdos. Ok, that was mean and I really don’t mean that! We just don’t typically get along. I’m great with most dogs though, and I’ll be a wonderful addition to the family as long as there’s patience, love, positivity, and no surprises.
I’m more than ready to join you if you’ll have me. I’m spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on my vaccines! Please stop by the adoption center if you’re ready to meet me in person.
Providence Animal Center relies on adoption fees and donations to save pets! Adoption fees vary per pet. To find out this pet’s adoption fee or for more information, please call the Adoption Center with this pet’s ID number.
Come stop by! We highly encourage prospective adopters to visit the Adoption Center as many times as they like to find the best pet to match their home and lifestyle. It’s our goal to make a perfect match the first time! Once you find a pet and fall in love, our trained adoption associates & counselors will be happy to assist you with the adoption process.
Foster parents are always needed for kittens, dogs and puppies. Some pets need as little as 2 weeks of care while others may need a few months.
No matter how little or as much time as you can dedicate, there’s an animal that would benefit from your help.
Your generous sponsorship will help cover the cost of the adoption package. It will also waive the chosen animal’s adoption fee!
Pet sponsors receive updates about their sponsored pet and will be notified when that animal has found his or her forever home.
