“Hi! Thank you for stopping by to read about me! My name is Penelope and I'm estimated to be around 6 years old and weigh about 48 pounds. I am the package deal – already spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines! Can you believe I was found as a stray? I may seem kind of shy when you first meet me but I warm up fast and love being around people once I get to know them. I recently joined the adoptable animal crew through Providence Animal Center's lifesaving facility!
The staff here at Providence Animal Center feel that I would do best in a home that's on the quieter side and one that has a fenced-in yard (I do love to play and run around!). My friends here at the center and a fabulous foster family I stayed with also say that I'll do great in a home with the right doggie pal, I'm crate trained and warm and affectionate after getting to know you. I am described as polite, cautious, playful, sensitive and just plain adorable! So, please stop by today during adoption hours to meet me – no appointment is necessary! XO ~Penelope”
Providence Animal Center is funded solely by adoption fees and donations. Adoption fees vary per animal, please call the Adoption Center and reference this animal's ID number in order to obtain accurate fee information.
Come stop by! We highly encourage prospective adopters to visit the Adoption Center as many times as they like to find the best pet to match their home and lifestyle. It’s our goal to make a perfect match the first time! Once you find a pet and fall in love, our trained adoption associates & counselors will be happy to assist you with the adoption process.
Foster parents are always needed for kittens, dogs and puppies. Some pets need as little as 2 weeks of care while others may need a few months.
No matter how little or as much time as you can dedicate, there’s an animal that would benefit from your help.
Your generous sponsorship will help cover the cost of the adoption package. It will also waive the chosen animal’s adoption fee!
Pet sponsors receive updates about their sponsored pet and will be notified when that animal has found his or her forever home.
