“Hello there! My name is Paris – thank you for stopping by to read about me! Some super nice police officers gave me a ride to Providence Animal Center after I was found abandoned in a nearby park, and the fantastic team here is now doing their best to find me my forever home. I am hoping you will stop by soon to meet me in person!
Some say I am the package deal – I am around 4 and 1/2 years old, 65 pounds, up to date on my vaccines, spayed, and micro-chipped!
The staff & volunteers here are still getting to know me, but I've heard them whispering about how I'm stealing everyone's hearts (sh, don't tell my other doggy friends here!). So far, they seem to understand that the right home for me is one that is away from it all (no city life, please!) – and they feel that I would do best in a quiet home since I'm sensitive to too much activity or loud noises. This environment will set me up to be the most successful doggy and allow me to learn about all the wonderful things that life has to offer! They also have described me as: shy & sweet, cautious, and a great running partner. I warm up to people at my own pace and once I do I've been known to turn into a wiggle-butt! I've also done well around other dog pals here in playgroups, so another dog friend in my forever home would probably be great!
If I sound like the girl for you, stop by the center today during adoption hours to meet me in person! The staff would love to match you with your new best friend forever – and hopefully that's me! See you soon!
Oh, and guess what? Someone is so excited for me to find my forever home that they’ve sponsored my adoption fee, which means I can join your family for FREE!
Come stop by! We highly encourage prospective adopters to visit the Adoption Center as many times as they like to find the best pet to match their home and lifestyle. It’s our goal to make a perfect match the first time! Once you find a pet and fall in love, our trained adoption associates & counselors will be happy to assist you with the adoption process.
Foster parents are always needed for kittens, dogs and puppies. Some pets need as little as 2 weeks of care while others may need a few months.
No matter how little or as much time as you can dedicate, there’s an animal that would benefit from your help.
Your generous sponsorship will help cover the cost of the adoption package. It will also waive the chosen animal’s adoption fee!
Pet sponsors receive updates about their sponsored pet and will be notified when that animal has found his or her forever home.
