Have you ever seen a dog as adorable as me?! Can you believe I’m homeless and am waiting for a wonderful person or family to adopt me? Great dogs like me end up in animal shelters every day- I know, it’s so hard to believe but it’s true!
My name is Nerf, and I just joined the adoptable doggy crew at Providence Animal Center. I'm around 6 years old and about 66 pounds. I'm all set to move right into your heart & home today – already:
The staff would love to match you with your new best friend forever – and hopefully that's me! My PAC friends describe me as laidback, playful and independent. I like attention on my terms, and maybe more when I feel more comfortable with you like I will lean in for more pets –– butt scratches are my favorite. If you have other household members, the staff think I would do best with kids who are 15 years old or older and not cats. They aren't my cup of tea. I may also live with the right doggie roommate, so don't forget to bring the whole family to meet me.
If you are interested in meeting me in person, please stop by the adoption center today – no appointment is necessary. My paws are crossed I will see you very soon! XOXO
P.S. Someone is so excited for me to find my fur-ever home, that they have sponsored my adoption fee! That means I can join your family today for FREE! Woohoo!!
Adoption center hours of operation are: Tuesday-Friday: 12–7PM, Saturday & Sunday: 12–5PM, closed Monday.
Providence Animal Center relies on adoption fees and donations to save pets! Adoption fees vary per pet. To find out this pet’s adoption fee or for more information, please call the Adoption Center with this pet’s ID number.
It's so easy to adopt from PAC- once a match is made, you fill out an application and can go home the same day with your new pet! Visit our how to adopt section to learn more about our adoption process.
Walk-in adoptions are back at PAC! Stop by our Adoption Center during our hours of operation Tuesday-Sunday to meet our available pets. Be sure to check the LOCATION of the pet you are interested in prior to coming in because some pets currently reside in foster homes. To meet a pet in a foster home, a meeting must be set up with our foster coordinator by filling out the adoption profile in the pet's bio.
View most of our adoptable dogs here and cats through this link. Once you see a pet you like, follow the instructions in his/her bio to schedule a meeting. For updates about when puppies & kittens will be available, be sure to follow us on Facebook.
Thank you for your understanding and please consider donating today to help our lifesaving work continue during this challenging time!
Foster parents are always needed for kittens, dogs and puppies. Some pets need as little as 2 weeks of care while others may need a few months.
No matter how little or as much time as you can dedicate, there’s an animal that would benefit from your help.
Your generous sponsorship will help cover the cost of the adoption package. It will also waive the chosen animal’s adoption fee!
Pet sponsors receive updates about their sponsored pet and will be notified when that animal has found his or her forever home.
