“Hi there, my name’s Nemo. After getting separated from my dad in New Jersey and coming to Providence Animal Center I’ve been a little scared. Luckily, I scored the coziest foster home to relax and unwind. But a foster home isn’t a furever – I would love to find my new dad (or mom)! I keep telling myself to “just keep swimming, just keep swimming.” Soon enough my new family will come around. I’ll be ready when they do since I’m:

  • up to date on vaccines
  • neutered
  • litterbox-trained
  • microchipped
  • 8 years old

Some people say I look like Mr. Grumpy Gills, but I promise I'm soft and squishy underneath this fur. Once I meet my furever family I will be a bit nervous, as you might imagine, but, after some nice tasty treats and gentle pets, I’ll know I’m finally safe with you. That family could even include a calm cat or dog sibling, too. After I meet you, I know I'll be saying “Mine, Mine, Mine!” So, if you'd like to learn more about me or are interested in adopting, please email a completed adoption profile to foster@providenceac.org. Once you meet me, I know I will be able to steal your heart!″

Even If You Can't Adopt, You Can Still Help!

    Foster Nemo

Foster parents are always needed for kittens, dogs and puppies. Some pets need as little as 2 weeks of care while others may need a few months.

No matter how little or as much time as you can dedicate, there’s an animal that would benefit from your help.

    Sponsor Nemo

Your generous sponsorship will help cover the cost of the adoption package. It will also waive the chosen animal’s adoption fee!

Pet sponsors receive updates about their sponsored pet and will be notified when that animal has found his or her forever home.
