Is that a treat….? Oh gosh….. Please don’t tempt me!! Treats are my weakness.

Treats and attention– that’s the quickest way to my heart. My name is Monty and I’m about 2 years old. I’m a mellow guy who loves to chill and mind my business, and I love to lay on my back and be funny! Check out my pics and see!!

I tend to be a little shy around new people– It can be overwhelming in the shelter, I’m sure you can imagine. There are a few ways to open me up, though. The first one is treats (obviously) and the second one is stick toys! I love to show off my agility and it’s a great way to impress and entertain humans– it helps me make connections with you.

Guess what else?! I’ve already been neutered, microchipped, litterbox trained, and vaccinated– which means I’m ready to move in ASAP! All that’s left is for you to come meet me. I really can’t wait and I hope to see you soon.

Providence Animal Center relies on adoption fees and donations to save pets! Adoption fees vary per pet. To find out this pet’s adoption fee or for more information, please call the Adoption Center with this pet’s ID number.

Even If You Can't Adopt, You Can Still Help!

    Foster Monty

Foster parents are always needed for kittens, dogs and puppies. Some pets need as little as 2 weeks of care while others may need a few months.

No matter how little or as much time as you can dedicate, there’s an animal that would benefit from your help.

    Sponsor Monty

Your generous sponsorship will help cover the cost of the adoption package. It will also waive the chosen animal’s adoption fee!

Pet sponsors receive updates about their sponsored pet and will be notified when that animal has found his or her forever home.
