How yoose doin? Have you ever seen a dog as handsome as me?! Can you believe I’m homeless and am waiting for a wonderful person or family to adopt me? Great dogs like me end up in animal shelters every day- I know, it’s so hard to believe but it’s true!

My name is Milo, and I just joined the adoptable doggy crew at Providence Animal Center from right here in Delco! I'm around 1 year old, 46 pounds of adorableness, and I'm all set to move right into your heart & home today – already neutered, microchipped & up to date on vaccinations.

I'm quickly becoming a staff and volunteer favorite (shh, don't tell the other doggos). I'm mean, just look at me. I have done well in my dog meets. I'm energetic and fun! Let's make memories! I have done well in my dog meets, so the staff think I would be able to live with the right doggie roommate with a slow introduction, of course! As for cats, no thank you. They aren't my type. I may also be able to live with children in elementary school or older. I'm cuddly and sensitive!

I got to have a mini vacation one of PAC's wonderful fosters. I was actually their first foster and this is what they had to say about me:

“He has been the best first foster. I can't stay enough about how great he is. He is such a sweet, cuddle bug. He loves to lean in for pets and attention. He has been an excellent office buddy and has done well with my male dog who has almost the same personality. Things I want potential adopters to know:

  • Dog friendly with pups of similar personalities
  • Kid friendly (mine are 11 & 13)
  • House & crate trained
  • Easy to walk on a leash
  • Sleeps through the night
  • No food or toy guarding
  • Knows sit command & listens very well
  • Easy to correct & food motivated

The staff would love to match you with your new best friend forever – and hopefully that's me!

I am lucky enough to be staying in a fabulous foster home while I wait for my forever family to find me. If you are interested in more information about me please complete the form below.

My paws are crossed I will see you very soon!

– Milo

P.S. A generous donor has sponsored my adoption fee, that means I can join your family today for FREE! Woohoo!”

Walk-in adoptions are back at PAC! Stop by our Adoption Center during our hours of operation Tuesday-Sunday to meet our available pets. Be sure to check the LOCATION of the pet you are interested in prior to coming in because some pets currently reside in foster homes. To meet a pet in a foster home, a meeting must be set up with our foster coordinator by filling out the adoption profile in the pet's bio.

View most of our adoptable dogs here and cats through this link. Once you see a pet you like, follow the instructions in his/her bio to schedule a meeting. For updates about when puppies & kittens will be available, be sure to follow us on Facebook.

Thank you for your understanding and please consider donating today to help our lifesaving work continue during this challenging time!

Even If You Can't Adopt, You Can Still Help!

    Foster Milo

Foster parents are always needed for kittens, dogs and puppies. Some pets need as little as 2 weeks of care while others may need a few months.

No matter how little or as much time as you can dedicate, there’s an animal that would benefit from your help.

    Sponsor Milo

Your generous sponsorship will help cover the cost of the adoption package. It will also waive the chosen animal’s adoption fee!

Pet sponsors receive updates about their sponsored pet and will be notified when that animal has found his or her forever home.
