Today was another great day! I am having a lot of fun with my friends here at Providence Animal Center. I am a country boy at heart from an overcrowded shelter in Georgia. So naturally, I love lots of outdoor space to run around and play. I love to go on walks and hikes, so an adventure buddy is at the top of my wish list. My human friends here at PAC say I am a big, goofy, happy boy…that sounds about right! I am 2 and 1/2 years old & 68 pounds.
My bags are packed and I am move-in-ready, I am:
I think a quiet neighborhood or rural home would be great for me, no city or apartment life for this country fella. A fenced in yard would be super great for me to stretch my long legs and expend my energy. The staff feels I could live with children 10 years old and up. I could live with the right doggie roommate. But those pesky cats on the other hand, I could do without them. I am described as: energetic, friendly, lots to learn, dramatic, misunderstood, playful, sensitive & high strung.
I hope someone sees my handsome face and decides I'm the one they will bring home to join their family forever. I love it here but I'm looking forward to truly settling in with my new family. We'll see what tomorrow brings.
P.S. Someone loves me so much that they have sponsored my adoption fee! That means that I can move into your forever loving home for FREE!
Adoption center hours of operation are: Tuesday-Friday: 12–7PM, Saturday & Sunday: 12–5PM, closed Monday.
Providence Animal Center relies on adoption fees and donations to save pets! Adoption fees vary per pet. To find out this pet’s adoption fee or for more information, please call the Adoption Center with this pet’s ID number.
It's so easy to adopt from PAC- once a match is made, you fill out an application and can go home the same day with your new pet! Visit this link to learn more about our adoption process.
Walk-in adoptions are back at PAC! Stop by our Adoption Center during our hours of operation Tuesday-Sunday to meet our available pets. Be sure to check the LOCATION of the pet you are interested in prior to coming in because some pets currently reside in foster homes. To meet a pet in a foster home, a meeting must be set up with our foster coordinator by filling out the adoption profile in the pet's bio.
View most of our adoptable dogs here and cats through this link. Once you see a pet you like, follow the instructions in his/her bio to schedule a meeting. For updates about when puppies & kittens will be available, be sure to follow us on Facebook.
Thank you for your understanding and please consider donating today to help our lifesaving work continue during this challenging time!
Foster parents are always needed for kittens, dogs and puppies. Some pets need as little as 2 weeks of care while others may need a few months.
No matter how little or as much time as you can dedicate, there’s an animal that would benefit from your help.
Your generous sponsorship will help cover the cost of the adoption package. It will also waive the chosen animal’s adoption fee!
Pet sponsors receive updates about their sponsored pet and will be notified when that animal has found his or her forever home.
