Stuffed animal or tiny diva? I'll let you decide.

My name is Lula and I was originally surrendered to ACCT by a family that could no longer care for me. So I found my way to Providence Animal Center's lifesaving facility! I am almost 3 years old, a petite 8 pounds and have the best perm in town!

Some of my favorite things include:

  • training with ultra yummy treats like ham, cheese, hot dogs, pepperoni
  • sleeping in! check out my additional photos for evidence
  • proving my intelligence, again for treats… I already know sit!

Lucky for me, I've been living in foster care with a dog trainer! It took me a few hours to warm up to my new living situation, but I have won over my fosters with my spunky attitude. They are teaching me to feel comfortable in the crate and around other dogs (without getting jealous, heh!). Basically, I'm too cute for my own good. As a result, people have been trying to touch me without my consent for my whole life! how rude! Thus, I'm looking for a knight in shining armor who will introduce me to the world in my own time, with patience and understanding.

My ideal home would be calm, quiet and adults only please!

Please email with an application to set up a time to meet me!

I’m already spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines– which means I’m all set to move in– Let’s not waste any time!

Lots of Love,

Even If You Can't Adopt, You Can Still Help!

    Foster Lula

Foster parents are always needed for kittens, dogs and puppies. Some pets need as little as 2 weeks of care while others may need a few months.

No matter how little or as much time as you can dedicate, there’s an animal that would benefit from your help.

    Sponsor Lula

Your generous sponsorship will help cover the cost of the adoption package. It will also waive the chosen animal’s adoption fee!

Pet sponsors receive updates about their sponsored pet and will be notified when that animal has found his or her forever home.
