Are you my forever family? Geez, I hope so. Please excuse my nervousness. I had a ruff start, so I'm slowly learning all the good things in the world. Like kind people and other dogs and open spaces and leashes means walks!
My name is Lila, and I am just 1 year old and 10 pounds. I'm what they call around this parks a move in ready which means that I am microchipped, spayed and up to date on my vaccinations.
My socialization and training have also begun with my friends here and especially my foster family! I love my foster sibling and she is helping me build my confidence. Like we sat outside and enjoyed the sun the other day AND it wasn't as scary as I originally thought! My foster momma raves about how quickly I'm progressing. I'm figuring out the leash and that loud noises aren't scary. I'm a sweet girl, just looking for some patience from a loving family.
The staff think that my ideal home would have a fenced in yard. I'm looking for a quieter environment (maybe not in the city or an apartment). I could live with another dog or kids 12+.
I am lucky enough to be staying in a fabulous foster home while I wait for my forever family to find me. If you are interested in more information about me please complete the form below.
P.S. Someone is so excited for me to find my fur-ever home, that they have sponsored my adoption fee! That means I can join your family today for FREE! Woohoo!!

Providence Animal Center relies on adoption fees and donations to save pets! Adoption fees vary per pet. To find out this pet’s adoption fee or for more information, please call the Adoption Center with this pet’s ID number.
It's so easy to adopt from PAC- once a match is made, you fill out an application and can go home the same day with your new pet! Visit https://providenceac.org/adopt/how-to-adopt/ to learn more about our adoption process.
Walk-in adoptions are back at PAC! Stop by our Adoption Center during our hours of operation Tuesday-Sunday to meet our available pets. Be sure to check the LOCATION of the pet you are interested in prior to coming in because some pets currently reside in foster homes. To meet a pet in a foster home, a meeting must be set up with our foster coordinator by filling out the adoption profile in the pet's bio.
View most of our adoptable dogs here and cats through this link. Once you see a pet you like, follow the instructions in his/her bio to schedule a meeting. For updates about when puppies & kittens will be available, be sure to follow us on Facebook.
Thank you for your understanding and please consider donating today to help our lifesaving work continue during this challenging time!
Foster parents are always needed for kittens, dogs and puppies. Some pets need as little as 2 weeks of care while others may need a few months.
No matter how little or as much time as you can dedicate, there’s an animal that would benefit from your help.
Your generous sponsorship will help cover the cost of the adoption package. It will also waive the chosen animal’s adoption fee!
Pet sponsors receive updates about their sponsored pet and will be notified when that animal has found his or her forever home.
