Jimmy

Gender: Male

Size: Medium

Age: Young Adult

Location: Foster Home

How you doin'?? My name is Jimmy and thank you for stopping by to read about me. I recently joined the adoptable doggy crew at Providence Animal Center's lifesaving facility from an overcrowded shelter in North Carolina. I am hoping you will stop by soon to meet me in person!

I'm around 2 years old and about 44 pounds. My bags are packed and I'm all set to join my new family – already: neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations.

The staff tell me I'm a playful comedian and attention-getter with lots to learn. They think I'd do best in a quiet home. Older kiddos (12+) would be ok so be sure to bring the whole family to meet me.

I've had a chance to meet some of the other four-legged felines and fidos here at the center. I could get along with the right doggie roommate (be sure to bring them with you to meet me so we can have a proper intro!) but no cats for this doggo. They just don't understand the ways of a dog.

Whaddya say? Providence Animal Center's adoption center has scenic and serene grounds where you can walk me around and get to know me in person.

If you are interested in more information about me, please fill out the form below.

Hugs & kisses, Jimmy

PS. Someone is so excited for me to find my furever home that they sponsored my adoption fee. That means I can join your home for FREE! Wahoo!

How to Adopt

Walk-in adoptions are back at PAC! Stop by our Adoption Center during our hours of operation Tuesday-Sunday to meet our available pets. Be sure to check the LOCATION of the pet you are interested in prior to coming in because some pets currently reside in foster homes. To meet a pet in a foster home, a meeting must be set up with our foster coordinator by filling out the adoption profile in the pet's bio.

View most of our adoptable dogs here and cats through this link. Once you see a pet you like, follow the instructions in his/her bio to schedule a meeting. For updates about when puppies & kittens will be available, be sure to follow us on Facebook.

Thank you for your understanding and please consider donating today to help our lifesaving work continue during this challenging time!

Even If You Can't Adopt, You Can Still Help!

Foster Jimmy

Foster parents are always needed for kittens, dogs and puppies. Some pets need as little as 2 weeks of care while others may need a few months.

No matter how little or as much time as you can dedicate, there’s an animal that would benefit from your help.

Sponsor Jimmy

Your generous sponsorship will help cover the cost of the adoption package. It will also waive the chosen animal’s adoption fee!

Pet sponsors receive updates about their sponsored pet and will be notified when that animal has found his or her forever home.
