We are rock-n-rolling our way through the month of May here at Providence Animal Center! To celebrate, Midnight has decided to go by a nick name to celebrate Rock-N-Roll! Midnight’s nick name is Jimi Hendrix! So come on down and rock with Jimi Hendrix and us!

Who doesn’t love Midnight?! I mean, that’s the time of day when we say goodbye to yesterday and welcome today, you can see all the beautiful stars if it is dark enough, and so much more! Well, we have one more exciting thing to add to that list… our very own Midnight! 🙂

Midnight is an extremely handsome boy who is approximately a year and a half old and weighs around 63lbs. Midnight is quite a smart pup – he’s been attending our training classes for volunteers and is such a rock star! He already knows ‘sit’, knows ‘down’ and is loving some of the fun training he is getting such as clicker training and playing with boxes to work his mind. He is super friendly and social with everyone during training and really loves to focus!

Midnight recently got to spend a weekend on a sleepover – that’s when one of our staff or volunteers takes a pup into their home for a couple of days to let them have a break from the kennels and enjoy home life! Midnight LOVED his sleepover! Here are some things his sleepover family wanted to share with you – “What can we say? Midnight is smart, energetic, playful, and loving! He has sit and down mastered and picks up new things very quickly! He was paying attention on our walks and quickly learned to stop at the curb before we crossed! What a smart boy! He was good on the leash and while he loved his long walks (we did 6-8 mile walks each day) he also was super content to relax on the couch or sleep on the floor! He loved to run in our backyard and roll in the grass – what dog doesn’t love to do that?! He rode nicely in the car, did well in the crate the few times we had to leave, and slept through the night with no problems! Midnight does get startled by new things when we were on our walks – but who isn’t startled by the lawn mower and bikers coming out of no where!? As our walks continued, he got more and more comfortable – so more walks through the neighborhoods and he’ll be a champ! This boy is bound to be scooped up into his forever home quickly – who wouldn’t want a very smart, playful, loving and loyal companion?!”

Midnight is already neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and micro-chipped which means he can go home with his forever family today! Come fall in love with our lovely boy today!

PS Someone loves Midnight so much that they want to ensure he can find his perfect forever home! Therefore, they have sponsored his adoption fee meaning he can go home for no fee! Come fall in love today!

    Foster Jimi Hendrix

Foster parents are always needed for kittens, dogs and puppies. Some pets need as little as 2 weeks of care while others may need a few months.

No matter how little or as much time as you can dedicate, there’s an animal that would benefit from your help.

    Sponsor Jimi Hendrix

Your generous sponsorship will help cover the cost of the adoption package. It will also waive the chosen animal’s adoption fee!

Pet sponsors receive updates about their sponsored pet and will be notified when that animal has found his or her forever home.
