Amelia Smith - jet 2

Jet

Gender: Male

Size: Medium

Age: Young Adult

The amazing Jet is currently taking a break from our dog kennels and hanging out at doggy daycare and boarding facility KIWIdogz. As you can see, he’s awfully cute. Jet has many characteristics of a cattle dog, and will need an experienced family to truly understand his needs. Cattle doggy aficionados know that this breed is not content stay home alone all day – he has too much energy.

Jet’s ideal family would love to move – the more moving, the better! Since he’s hanging at a boarding facility, he gets along well with other dogs (but says ‘no thanks’ to kitties!), so he could live with dogs in his forever home, but he could also fly solo – if his human was willing to be his exercise partner. Jet would do best in an adult-only home (kids 15+) since he needs patience and structure to be the best pet he can be. Jet is still learning house manners and will need to continue working on those in his forever home to be a good boy.

If you think Jet could be The One, contact PAC’s resident dog trainer and one of Jet’s favorite people, Carolyn, at CMuller@providenceac.org, and she can tell you a little bit more about Jet and help to arrange a visit.

Jet has been homeless for over 30 days, which means his adoption fee is waived during the month of June.

Providence Animal Center relies on adoption fees and donations to save pets! Adoption fees vary per pet. To find out this pet’s adoption fee or for more information, please call the Adoption Center with this pet’s ID number.

Even If You Can't Adopt, You Can Still Help!

    Foster Jet

Foster parents are always needed for kittens, dogs and puppies. Some pets need as little as 2 weeks of care while others may need a few months.

No matter how little or as much time as you can dedicate, there’s an animal that would benefit from your help.

    Sponsor Jet

Your generous sponsorship will help cover the cost of the adoption package. It will also waive the chosen animal’s adoption fee!

Pet sponsors receive updates about their sponsored pet and will be notified when that animal has found his or her forever home.
