Hello! My name is Heath and I'm really glad you stopped by to learn more about me.
I'm about 1.5 years old, 62 pounds, and originally from North Carolina. And I like to think of myself as a classic southern gentleman: handsome (that's a given), sociable, and clever. I really love people and other dogs. I've honestly never met a person or dog I don't love, but I've got this thing about toys (more on that later), so I need to live in a home where everyone is 16 or older.
I'm also a clever boy with a drive to learn new things, especially when there are treats involved. I'm gentle when taking treats, as is appropriate of a gentleman, and will thank you for sharing your food with many MANY kisses. I love getting attention from and giving attention to my people. I also know how to slow down and enjoy a quiet moment, watching the world go by.
None of us are perfect, right? We've all got room for improvement, so I hope you'll be understanding about my thing with toys. I love toys. I love toys so much I obsess over them and my friends here have a strict “no balls” policy for me. I think everything is a toy, which can get a little awkward when things aren't actually toys. Whoops. I'm working on it, I swear.
And before you even ask, cats are a big “no, thank you” from me. That is not the kind of energy I choose to surround myself with.
Now for some last minute stats: I'm already neutered, up to date on my vaccines, AND my adoption fee is sponsored (I can join your family today for FREE!). It sounds like I'm ready to go home at any minute.
So, if I sound like I could be your new BFF and you'd like to meet me in person, just schedule an appointment here. My paws are crossed I will see you very soon! XOXO Heath

Even If You Can't Adopt, You Can Still Help!

    Foster Heath

Foster parents are always needed for kittens, dogs and puppies. Some pets need as little as 2 weeks of care while others may need a few months.

No matter how little or as much time as you can dedicate, there’s an animal that would benefit from your help.

    Sponsor Heath

Your generous sponsorship will help cover the cost of the adoption package. It will also waive the chosen animal’s adoption fee!

Pet sponsors receive updates about their sponsored pet and will be notified when that animal has found his or her forever home.
