Aw shucks! Thanks for stopping by to say hello! My name is Garnet and I’m a sweet, shy gal who is trying to understand life. I am approximately 2 years old and have been bounced around a lot so far in my life so I’m a bit unsure about life. I’d love a quiet, calm home where I can relax but also have a safe place to just roam and smell the grass… I really love to lay in the grass and roll around!
I am extremely food motivated, sometimes to my detriment, but I’m learning to be good around food! hehe I’m a super smart girl so learning is my game – I already know sit and down and would really love to work in basic obedience classes to learn more! I would really enjoy nice long walks or hikes – but I don’t like to be in crowded places and need my space. My friends here feel that I could live with older kids who can help with my daily care and understand that I may not be the most playful pup. I also am not sure if I really want a canine sibling as I’m just not into playing that much, but I do not mind walking past them and occasional greetings.
I do really like toys and bones – they help me relax and my silly side starts to come out! I really think my perfect forever home is out there and with the right family, I am sure to blossom into an amazing dog and I promise to be your friend for life! Please come visit me soon! xoxo Garnet
PS – Garnet is already spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and micro-chipped!
Providence Animal Center relies on adoption fees and donations to save pets! Adoption fees vary per pet. To find out this pet’s adoption fee or for more information, please call the Adoption Center with this pet’s ID number.
Come stop by! We highly encourage prospective adopters to visit the Adoption Center as many times as they like to find the best pet to match their home and lifestyle. It’s our goal to make a perfect match the first time! Once you find a pet and fall in love, our trained adoption associates & counselors will be happy to assist you with the adoption process.
Foster parents are always needed for kittens, dogs and puppies. Some pets need as little as 2 weeks of care while others may need a few months.
No matter how little or as much time as you can dedicate, there’s an animal that would benefit from your help.
Your generous sponsorship will help cover the cost of the adoption package. It will also waive the chosen animal’s adoption fee!
Pet sponsors receive updates about their sponsored pet and will be notified when that animal has found his or her forever home.
