Howdy there!

My name is Foots. You may think that name is not very glamorous, but I think it’s full of personality – like me! My whole world was turned upside down when my previous family could no longer care for me. Luckily, my friends at Providence Animal Center brought me into their safe haven, and have been giving me the love, patience, and space I need to be my amazing self.

I am approximately 8 years old and 105 pounds of handsomeness. My ideal family will be an adult-only family with large breed experience and want to give me a comfortable couch to retire to. I absolutely love being outside, and went on a 5-mile walk over Mother’s Day weekend. I even enjoyed the car ride there. Of course, I also love to lounge in a comfortable spot close to my loved ones.

My bags are packed and I am move in ready, I am:

  • neutered
  • microchipped
  • up to date on vaccines

And the best part is one of my volunteer friends here at the center has sponsored my adoption fee – which means I can join your family for FREE! Which is great because then you can buy me all of the treats and toys a guy like me deserves.

If you’re interested in learning more about me, send an adoption profile to my friend Dayna at! I sure hope I meet my match soon, and that it’s someone as lovely as you!

Tail wags and paw-shakes,

Even If You Can't Adopt, You Can Still Help!

    Foster Foots

Foster parents are always needed for kittens, dogs and puppies. Some pets need as little as 2 weeks of care while others may need a few months.

No matter how little or as much time as you can dedicate, there’s an animal that would benefit from your help.

    Sponsor Foots

Your generous sponsorship will help cover the cost of the adoption package. It will also waive the chosen animal’s adoption fee!

Pet sponsors receive updates about their sponsored pet and will be notified when that animal has found his or her forever home.
