Dear Future Family,

My name is Fern, and I'm currently in search of my forever home. I've been at the shelter for quite some time now, making me the longest resident here. Despite that, I haven't lost hope that the right family is out there for me.

One of my best qualities is how friendly I am with other dogs. I love helping out with socialization, and it's been a rewarding experience for me. With the help of the shelter's amazing dog trainer and kennel staff, I've made huge strides in improving my behavior. I've learned so much, and I'm eager to continue learning and growing in a loving home.

I thrive in environments that provide structure and routine. I'm super smart and have been working hard on keeping calm when it's time to relax. I believe I would do best in an adult-only home with a family who has previously owned dogs. A fenced-in yard would be a great bonus, as it would give me the space to work on my training with my new family.

I understand that I may need a little extra patience and understanding, but my unwavering loyalty and companionship will be worth it! If you're looking for a dog who will be your loyal companion and who will work hard to make you proud, then I'm your girl.

Thank you for considering me as a part of your family. I look forward to the opportunity to meet you and bring some joy and love into your life.

With love,

How to Adopt

Walk-in adoptions are back at PAC! Stop by our Adoption Center during our hours of operation Tuesday-Sunday to meet our available pets. Be sure to check the LOCATION of the pet you are interested in prior to coming in because some pets currently reside in foster homes. To meet a pet in a foster home, a meeting must be set up with our foster coordinator by filling out the adoption profile in the pet's bio.

View most of our adoptable dogs here and cats through this link. Once you see a pet you like, follow the instructions in his/her bio to schedule a meeting. For updates about when puppies & kittens will be available, be sure to follow us on Facebook.

Thank you for your understanding and please consider donating today to help our lifesaving work continue during this challenging time!

Even If You Can't Adopt, You Can Still Help!

Foster Fern

Foster parents are always needed for kittens, dogs and puppies. Some pets need as little as 2 weeks of care while others may need a few months.

No matter how little or as much time as you can dedicate, there’s an animal that would benefit from your help.

Sponsor Fern

Your generous sponsorship will help cover the cost of the adoption package. It will also waive the chosen animal’s adoption fee!

Pet sponsors receive updates about their sponsored pet and will be notified when that animal has found his or her forever home.
