Emmy

Gender: Female

Size: Large

Age: Older Adult

Have you heard the great news?! Someone loves Emmy so much that they wanted to make sure it was easy for her forever family to adopt her – so guess what?! They have sponsored her adoption fee meaning her perfect forever family can adopt her at no fee. So hurry in to the Adoption Center and fall in love with our beautiful Boxer girl Emmy!

Emmy is our super sweet Southern gal who, despite her senior age of 12, is quite spunky! Emmy recently spent a couple days in foster care with one of our staff members and let me just tell you, Emmy loved it! She enjoyed going on walks and her foster home said she was a great leash walker! Emmy was calm in the home, didn’t mind being in the crate, and enjoyed hanging out in her safe space of the house. While Emmy would likely prefer a home without other pets, she was tolerant of the resident dog and cat – she had some supervised visits with the kitty through a baby gate and did well! Emmy is housetrained, but due to her age is unable to hold it for more than 5-6 hours at a time so she would love a home that can accommodate her needs and love her unconditionally! Her foster family said she loved meeting new people and is great in the car. Emmy gets adorable bursts of energy to run around like a young puppy, then gets super sleepy and needs her afternoon nap! Aren’t the seniors the best?! They always know how to put a smile on our faces! Emmy LOVES puzzle toys, is spunky, super smart, and is still eating all food – both wet and dry – and just LOVES food – so come with lots of treats for this special lady of ours! Emmy is already spayed, up to date on vaccinations and micro-chipped so come fall in love and provide our senior girl a lifetime of love!

Even If You Can't Adopt, You Can Still Help!

    Foster Emmy

Foster parents are always needed for kittens, dogs and puppies. Some pets need as little as 2 weeks of care while others may need a few months.

No matter how little or as much time as you can dedicate, there’s an animal that would benefit from your help.

    Sponsor Emmy

Your generous sponsorship will help cover the cost of the adoption package. It will also waive the chosen animal’s adoption fee!

Pet sponsors receive updates about their sponsored pet and will be notified when that animal has found his or her forever home.
