Hey there! My name is Jimmy Chew, I am around 2 years old, about 40lbs, already neutered, microchipped & up to date on vaccinations and all set to move right into your home and heart!
My friends here describe me as a shy, independent, misunderstood, clever, playful pup. I am most often seen romping in the pens with my jolly ball or taking it on short walks. My friends here think I am funny and a self-entertainer. I am just not always sure how to play with humans, but I love that they like to watch me and laugh. They say I have a lot of puppy-like energy that needs to be channeled into learning and enrichment so that I don't get bored. Give me a rope toy, tennis balls or my favorite jolly ball and watch me go! I am already getting the hang of fun games like “touch” and “find it” but I know that there’s still plenty out there that I’m eager to learn. I am hoping that you will want to teach me too.
I would love a quiet, calm, adult-only home. I’m nervous meeting new people, so I will need my forever humans to go slow and manage interactions safely. I may not be interested in making new friends, so my people will need to accept me for me and not force anything. I am happiest romping in the yard with my toys and friends. I do enjoy our time together and when I am ready, I will give you many kisses like I’ve grown to love to do with my closest friends here at PAC.
I’ve also enjoyed making doggie friends at the center and could live with the right dog friend. I love to wrestle and run with my friends and can be a little rough-and-tumble with them, so they have to like that sort of play. With a slow introduction, I might also be able to live with the right kitty roommate – with my type of energy, a cat who is used to this would be best!
So, if you are interested in more information about me and/or would like to set up a meeting with me to get to know me more, please schedule an appointment here. My paws are crossed I will see you very soon!
P.S. Someone is so excited for me to find my fur-ever home, that they have sponsored my adoption fee! That means I can join your family today for FREE! Woohoo!!

Foster parents are always needed for kittens, dogs and puppies. Some pets need as little as 2 weeks of care while others may need a few months.
No matter how little or as much time as you can dedicate, there’s an animal that would benefit from your help.
Your generous sponsorship will help cover the cost of the adoption package. It will also waive the chosen animal’s adoption fee!
Pet sponsors receive updates about their sponsored pet and will be notified when that animal has found his or her forever home.
