Hi, there! Have you ever seen a dog as adorable as me?! Can you believe I’m homeless and am waiting for a wonderful person or family to adopt me? Great dogs like me end up in animal shelters every day- I know, it’s so hard to believe but it’s true!
My name is Coyote, and I just joined the adoptable doggy crew at Providence Animal Center from DE. I'm around 3 years old, about 39 pounds, and I'm all set to move right into your heart & home today – already spayed, microchipped & up to date on vaccinations.
The staff and volunteers describe me as shy and sweet. I'm a bit of a wallflower and prefer to watch before joining in. I am working on my leash skills, and I hope my new home will be patient with me while I figure it out. The staff think that my ideal home would be a quiet home in the suburbs and would have a fenced in yard. I love to cuddle and receive belly rubs. The staff even think I would be able to live with the right feline roommate with a proper introduction, of course. I'll even give you a paw to let you know I would like more pets.
The staff would love to match you with your new best friend forever – and hopefully that's me! Come in today to meet me – no appointment necessary! Providence Animal Center's hours of operations are Tuesday-Friday: 12–7PM, Saturday & Sunday: 12–5PM, closed Monday. My paws are crossed I will see you very soon!
Tail wags and kisses,
Providence Animal Center relies on adoption fees and donations to save pets! Adoption fees vary per pet. To find out this pet’s adoption fee or for more information, please call the Adoption Center with this pet’s ID number.
Can’t adopt? Consider fostering or donating! Visit https://providenceac.org/support-us/ for more information on how you can support the lifesaving mission!
Walk-in adoptions are back at PAC! Stop by our Adoption Center during our hours of operation Tuesday-Sunday to meet our available pets. Be sure to check the LOCATION of the pet you are interested in prior to coming in because some pets currently reside in foster homes. To meet a pet in a foster home, a meeting must be set up with our foster coordinator by filling out the adoption profile in the pet's bio.
View most of our adoptable dogs here and cats through this link. Once you see a pet you like, follow the instructions in his/her bio to schedule a meeting. For updates about when puppies & kittens will be available, be sure to follow us on Facebook.
Thank you for your understanding and please consider donating today to help our lifesaving work continue during this challenging time!
Foster parents are always needed for kittens, dogs and puppies. Some pets need as little as 2 weeks of care while others may need a few months.
No matter how little or as much time as you can dedicate, there’s an animal that would benefit from your help.
Your generous sponsorship will help cover the cost of the adoption package. It will also waive the chosen animal’s adoption fee!
Pet sponsors receive updates about their sponsored pet and will be notified when that animal has found his or her forever home.
