“Hi!  My name is Cortez and I made my way to Providence Animal Center from sunny Florida. While I am thrilled to be here, life wasn’t always so sunny for me! When I first arrived, I was not looking my best, but luckily I was taken care of by the awesome doctors and staff here. Then my foster Mommy and Daddy came along and said I could live with them until I was better! They want you to know a few things about me (all awesome of course!)

To start off – I am a love bug with big puppy dog eyes. While I was staying with them I never had any accidents in the house.  I love belly rubs and getting doggie massages – don’t we all?   I love car rides (I always want to sit up front), the beach, walks, my toys, my bed, although I love my foster parents bed more(Hint, hint)!! I love just about everything now since I feel soooo much better.   What I don’t like is not having a forever home, but I am hoping that will be changing very soon!

Overall, I am a great little guy who is looking for a place to call home with great people who will love me and care for me.   Are you those people?? I hope so!!! If you are ready to meet a fun little pup like myself, just come on in and meet me – you will fall in love…. I promise!!! XOXO~ Cortez”

Even If You Can't Adopt, You Can Still Help!

Foster Cortez

Foster parents are always needed for kittens, dogs and puppies. Some pets need as little as 2 weeks of care while others may need a few months.

No matter how little or as much time as you can dedicate, there’s an animal that would benefit from your help.

Sponsor Cortez

Your generous sponsorship will help cover the cost of the adoption package. It will also waive the chosen animal’s adoption fee!

Pet sponsors receive updates about their sponsored pet and will be notified when that animal has found his or her forever home.
