“Hi, Y'all! Have you ever seen a dog as gorgeous as me?! Can you believe I’m homeless and am waiting for a wonderful person or family to adopt me? Great dogs like me end up in animal shelters every day- I know, it’s so hard to believe but it’s true!
My name is Cordelia, and I just joined the adoptable doggy crew at Providence Animal Center from Pensacola, FL. I'm around 3 years old, about 48 pounds, and I'm all set to move right into your heart & home today – already:
My previous shelter says I have always been well behaved and polite in my kennel. I have done well in playgroups, but I can be a little bossy. So they recommend proper introductions first. They think I will make a wonderful companion to some lucky family.
The staff feels I would do best with children 12 years old and up. I'm looking for a home where I can be queen of the household. I don't want to share my humans. I'm an attention getter who is shy and sweet. I could probably be a great runner partner, so I can keep my figure. So what do you say? Let's be best buds! Please stop by the adoption center today and meet me in person – no appointment is necessary. My paws are crossed I will see you very soon!
PS – Did you see my personalized portrait by one of my friends at Springfield Township Library? Check it out in my pics!
Adoption center hours of operation are: Tuesday-Friday: 12–7PM, Saturday & Sunday: 12–5PM, closed Monday.
Providence Animal Center relies on adoption fees and donations to save pets! Adoption fees vary per pet. To find out this pet’s adoption fee or for more information, please call the Adoption Center with this pet’s ID number.
It's so easy to adopt from PAC- once a match is made, you fill out an application and can go home the same day with your new pet! Visit this link to learn more about our adoption process.
Walk-in adoptions are back at PAC! Stop by our Adoption Center during our hours of operation Tuesday-Sunday to meet our available pets. Be sure to check the LOCATION of the pet you are interested in prior to coming in because some pets currently reside in foster homes. To meet a pet in a foster home, a meeting must be set up with our foster coordinator by filling out the adoption profile in the pet's bio.
View most of our adoptable dogs here and cats through this link. Once you see a pet you like, follow the instructions in his/her bio to schedule a meeting. For updates about when puppies & kittens will be available, be sure to follow us on Facebook.
Thank you for your understanding and please consider donating today to help our lifesaving work continue during this challenging time!
Foster parents are always needed for kittens, dogs and puppies. Some pets need as little as 2 weeks of care while others may need a few months.
No matter how little or as much time as you can dedicate, there’s an animal that would benefit from your help.
Your generous sponsorship will help cover the cost of the adoption package. It will also waive the chosen animal’s adoption fee!
Pet sponsors receive updates about their sponsored pet and will be notified when that animal has found his or her forever home.
