Hi, my name's Cleo. I recently made my way from ACCT Philly to PAC. I'm a 9-year old, declawed lady who loves lounging around with my human friends, rolling in some catnip, and even playing with my toys when I'm feeling spunky. Give me a few pets and I'll be purring up a storm. I could live with the right dog, but no cats, please.
Now to point out the elephant in the room, I'm a big girl – all 25 pounds of me. Despite my size, I've received a clean bill of health from my vets here. Now, I'm looking for a special someone to help me with my weight loss journey – a personal trainer, if you will. Someone who keeps me on track. I'm doing great here so far, and it won't be hard – as long as you can resist my precious, little, begging face. All I need is for you to manage how much food I'm getting, which can be easily done by counting the calories in the can of wet food. I also need a little motivation to exercise – I enjoy feather wands but get tired easily so a couple very brief play sessions throughout the day will do wonders. Stairs might be difficult for me, too, until I lose some weight. My vets at PAC are offering my adopters free monthly check-ins to monitor my weight loss. I'm also lucky enough to be sponsored so adoption fee is waived.
If you're looking for a big lady with a bigger heart, set up an appointment to meet me by contacting my current personal trainer Rachel at firstname.lastname@example.org. My paws are crossed I will hear from you soon! XOXO
P.S. I am spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped & litter box-trained.
Adoption center hours of operation are: Tuesday-Friday: 12–7PM, Saturday & Sunday: 12–5PM, closed Monday.
Providence Animal Center relies on adoption fees and donations to save pets! Adoption fees vary per pet. To find out this pet’s adoption fee or for more information, please call the Adoption Center with this pet’s ID number.
Walk-in adoptions are back at PAC! Stop by our Adoption Center during our hours of operation Tuesday-Sunday to meet our available pets. Be sure to check the LOCATION of the pet you are interested in prior to coming in because some pets currently reside in foster homes. To meet a pet in a foster home, a meeting must be set up with our foster coordinator by filling out the adoption profile in the pet's bio.
View most of our adoptable dogs here and cats through this link. Once you see a pet you like, follow the instructions in his/her bio to schedule a meeting. For updates about when puppies & kittens will be available, be sure to follow us on Facebook.
Thank you for your understanding and please consider donating today to help our lifesaving work continue during this challenging time!
Foster parents are always needed for kittens, dogs and puppies. Some pets need as little as 2 weeks of care while others may need a few months.
No matter how little or as much time as you can dedicate, there’s an animal that would benefit from your help.
Your generous sponsorship will help cover the cost of the adoption package. It will also waive the chosen animal’s adoption fee!
Pet sponsors receive updates about their sponsored pet and will be notified when that animal has found his or her forever home.
