Charlie

Gender: Male

Size: Small

Age: Young Adult

Location: Foster Home

Howdy y'all! Thank you for stopping by to read about me. I recently joined the adoptable doggy crew at Providence Animal Center's lifesaving facility from an overcrowded shelter in Florida. I am hoping you will stop by soon to meet me in person!

My name is Charlie, and I'm a Tri-pawed, 1 year old and about 21 pounds. I'm all set to join my new family – already:

  • neutered
  • microchipped
  • up to date on vaccinations

A little more about my special needs: “Charlie does have some nerve damage to the lower half of his body. This can affect his mobility. He uses his remaining hind leg at times but other times will drag his back end behind him. He does best on carpeted floors and grass. He also cannot really do steps but could be happy living on one floor.”

I am hanging out in a loving foster home. My foster family says that I am “a loving, happy, goofy dog. He is extremely affectionate and is a great snuggler, likes to burrow under your blanket.” I am crate-trained. I have been hanging out with my foster doggie sibling and I could live with the right doggie roommate.

So, if you are interested in meeting me, please fill out the inquiry form below. Then my people will call your people. My paws are crossed I will hear from you very soon!

XOXO,

Charlie

P.S. Someone is so excited for me to find my fur-ever home, that they have sponsored my adoption fee! That means I can join your family today for FREE! Woohoo!!

How to Adopt

Walk-in adoptions are back at PAC! Stop by our Adoption Center during our hours of operation Tuesday-Sunday to meet our available pets. Be sure to check the LOCATION of the pet you are interested in prior to coming in because some pets currently reside in foster homes. To meet a pet in a foster home, a meeting must be set up with our foster coordinator by filling out the adoption profile in the pet's bio.

View most of our adoptable dogs here and cats through this link. Once you see a pet you like, follow the instructions in his/her bio to schedule a meeting. For updates about when puppies & kittens will be available, be sure to follow us on Facebook.

Thank you for your understanding and please consider donating today to help our lifesaving work continue during this challenging time!

Even If You Can't Adopt, You Can Still Help!

Foster Charlie

Foster parents are always needed for kittens, dogs and puppies. Some pets need as little as 2 weeks of care while others may need a few months.

No matter how little or as much time as you can dedicate, there’s an animal that would benefit from your help.

Sponsor Charlie

Your generous sponsorship will help cover the cost of the adoption package. It will also waive the chosen animal’s adoption fee!

Pet sponsors receive updates about their sponsored pet and will be notified when that animal has found his or her forever home.
