“Hi, there! My name is Strudel and I'm a 2-year-old, 45-pound handsome hunk in search of a forever best friend. I originally thought I was a city dog and gave living in Philadelphia a shot before moving here to Delco. Philly wasn't a bad place to live, but since being at PAC, I've discovered the true joys of nature and sniffing the outdoors. I love to go for long walks, hikes, and play ball. I will literally chase tennis balls for hours! I have energy and need my daily exercise, but I also really enjoy a good, quiet rest. Play me some calming music, give me a blanket and a crate, and I'm in my own little heaven.
Got friends? I love friends! Human friends, dog friends – I love them all. (Just not cat friends. I don't really love cats.) My best dog friend at PAC is Deena and we love to go for walks and face wrestle and chase each other around. When Deena can't come out to play, I can make friends with just about anyone. Do you already have a dog friend at home? That's cool! I'd love to meet them and maybe we could be best friends, too!
My human friends say I'm sweet, and with a name like “Strudel” it has to be true. They let me decide when I want to be pet and cuddled, which is great because sometimes I'm just not in the mood for that. (We all have days like that, am I right?!) They also tell me how smart I am – give me a puzzle toy or a training challenge and I am all. over. it. One of the best parts about my human friends is that they take me on car rides to the park, to the Starbucks drive through, around town – I love car rides. There's nothing quite as exciting as looking out the window of a moving car. I've even been known to have some really fun times with older kids.
Just a few more things about me before you go: I'm neutered, up to date on all of my vaccines and even microchipped. AND my adoption fee is sponsored, which means I'm free to go home with you today!
I'm currently benefiting from a foster home. So, if you'd like to meet me, email a completed adoption profile to my friend Dayna at email@example.com and let's set something up!
P.S. Check out the collage of me and my best PAC doggie gal, Deena, on a recent playdate and the photos of me on an adventure at Home Depot!

Come stop by! We highly encourage prospective adopters to visit the Adoption Center as many times as they like to find the best pet to match their home and lifestyle. It’s our goal to make a perfect match the first time! Once you find a pet and fall in love, our trained adoption associates & counselors will be happy to assist you with the adoption process.
Foster parents are always needed for kittens, dogs and puppies. Some pets need as little as 2 weeks of care while others may need a few months.
No matter how little or as much time as you can dedicate, there’s an animal that would benefit from your help.
Your generous sponsorship will help cover the cost of the adoption package. It will also waive the chosen animal’s adoption fee!
Pet sponsors receive updates about their sponsored pet and will be notified when that animal has found his or her forever home.
