Did someone say TREAT?? Hiya there, my name is Blitz and thanks for visiting me online! I’m a new arrival to Providence Animal Center from an overcrowded shelter in Florida. I can’t wait to move from here into my new forever home.
My bags are packed and I am move-in-ready, I am:
- 1 & 1/2 years old
- 44 pounds
- neutered
- up-to-date on vaccinations
- microchipped
The staff & volunteers tell me I'm a supah smart, playful pup with lots to learn. I thrive on routine – daily walks or playtime in the yard to burn off energy. Fetch is my absolute favorite! If you have kiddos in the household, the staff think I would do best with those who are high school aged or older. I can be a bit much for the young ones (be sure to bring the whole family to meet me), but I'd do best as your only pet. More scratches for me!
I had an a-MAH-zing time on my mini vacay. My hosts report that I was a wonderful guest — good recall in the yard, perfect in his crate, loves neck massages, enjoys walks, loves snacks, and appears to be housetrained.So what do you think? Let's be BFFs!

Adoption center hours of operation are: Tuesday-Friday: 12–7PM, Saturday & Sunday: 12–5PM, closed Monday.

How to Adopt
Walk-in adoptions are back at PAC! Stop by our Adoption Center during our hours of operation Tuesday-Sunday to meet our available pets. Be sure to check the LOCATION of the pet you are interested in prior to coming in because some pets currently reside in foster homes. To meet a pet in a foster home, a meeting must be set up with our foster coordinator by filling out the adoption profile in the pet's bio.
View most of our adoptable dogs here and cats through this link. Once you see a pet you like, follow the instructions in his/her bio to schedule a meeting. For updates about when puppies & kittens will be available, be sure to follow us on Facebook.

Foster Blitz
Foster parents are always needed for kittens, dogs and puppies. Some pets need as little as 2 weeks of care while others may need a few months.
No matter how little or as much time as you can dedicate, there’s an animal that would benefit from your help.
Sponsor Blitz
Your generous sponsorship will help cover the cost of the adoption package. It will also waive the chosen animal’s adoption fee!
Pet sponsors receive updates about their sponsored pet and will be notified when that animal has found his or her forever home.
