Big Daddy

Gender: Male

Size: Extra Large

Age: Adult

Location: Foster Home

What's black, white & furry all over?? That's right…ME! I’m a new arrival to Providence Animal Center and I can’t wait to move into my new forever home. But my adoption day is all I can think about, please don’t make me wait too long!

I am move-in-ready, I am:

  • 7 years old
  • a chonky 19 pounds
  • neutered
  • up-to-date on my vaccines
  • microchipped
  • litter box-trained

The staff feels I could live with children middle school aged and older. I could live with the right kitty roommate with a proper introduction. Those dogs on the other hand, I could do without them…we just don't see eye-to-eye. I am described as: a snuggler, food motivated, confident, social butterfly, talkative, couch potato, play motivated & curious. One of my favorite things is lounging in the window.

I am currently hanging out in a foster home. I have been enjoying a calm environment and just lounging around. My foster family says I am a laid-back cat, who doesn't like to be the center of attention. So what do ya say? If you are interested in learning more about me or are interested in adopting me, please fill out the inquiry form below. I have my bags all packed, I just need a home to love me!

XOXO, Big Daddy

PS. Someone is so excited for me to find my furever home that they sponsored my adoption fee. That means I can join your home for FREE! Wahoo!

How to Adopt

Walk-in adoptions are back at PAC! Stop by our Adoption Center during our hours of operation Tuesday-Sunday to meet our available pets. Be sure to check the LOCATION of the pet you are interested in prior to coming in because some pets currently reside in foster homes. To meet a pet in a foster home, a meeting must be set up with our foster coordinator by filling out the adoption profile in the pet's bio.

View most of our adoptable dogs here and cats through this link. Once you see a pet you like, follow the instructions in his/her bio to schedule a meeting. For updates about when puppies & kittens will be available, be sure to follow us on Facebook.

Thank you for your understanding and please consider donating today to help our lifesaving work continue during this challenging time!

Even If You Can't Adopt, You Can Still Help!

Foster Big Daddy

Foster parents are always needed for kittens, dogs and puppies. Some pets need as little as 2 weeks of care while others may need a few months.

No matter how little or as much time as you can dedicate, there’s an animal that would benefit from your help.

Sponsor Big Daddy

Your generous sponsorship will help cover the cost of the adoption package. It will also waive the chosen animal’s adoption fee!

Pet sponsors receive updates about their sponsored pet and will be notified when that animal has found his or her forever home.
