Oh hey there! Thank you for stopping by to read about me. I recently joined the adoptable doggy crew at Providence Animal Center's lifesaving facility from an overcrowded shelter in Florida. I am hoping you will stop by soon to meet me in person!
My name is Bananas, and I'm around 2 years old and about 41 pounds. I'm all set to join my new family – already:
- spayed
- microchipped
- up to date on vaccinations
The staff and volunteers describe me as shy and sweet. I am playful and an attention getter… well just look at me… Absolutely, stunning! I still have a lot to learn, but I'm very intelligent and like to work! The staff think that my ideal home would active and adults only (they are thinking 25 years old +). I'm looking for a quiet home with a fenced in yard that I can romp around in, if I don't get my walk(s) for the day. I may also be able to live with the right dog roommate…but those pesky cats on the other hand, I could do without them. Don't forget to bring them when you come to meet me! They also wanted me to share that I am crate trained. Super cool, right?!
Providence Animal Center's adoption center has scenic and serene grounds where you can walk me around and get to know me in person. So far my friends here at PAC know that I would benefit from an active family who likes to go for hikes and walks. I have met some kitty friends here at the center and I could live with a kitty sibling with a slow and proper introduction.

How to Adopt
Walk-in adoptions are back at PAC! Stop by our Adoption Center during our hours of operation Tuesday-Sunday to meet our available pets. Be sure to check the LOCATION of the pet you are interested in prior to coming in because some pets currently reside in foster homes. To meet a pet in a foster home, a meeting must be set up with our foster coordinator by filling out the adoption profile in the pet's bio.
