It’s a pleasure to meet you! My name is Bahama Mama – I like to live the island life – nice, calm, and relaxed! Don’t worry, I still have a wild side to me just like every true island girl does!
I am a recent arrival to Providence Animal Center from the local city intake shelter. I am currently about 8 1/2 years old and weigh around 75lbs. I am enjoying my time in one of their wonderful foster homes, but what I would really love is a forever home of my own! My friends here say that I am quite the attention-getter and social butterfly – I love my back scratches – don’t you? I’m also told that my friends feel like I could live with some other canine friends, but they feel that I would do best without those silly felines in my home as I just don’t quite understand them!
I’m already spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and micro-chipped. OH and please don’t let my age deter you – I love to go for walks and play just as much as any of my younger pals do – we will have lots of fun together, but also lots of relaxation time too! If you are interested in meeting me please email my people at email@example.com with an application and they would be more than happy to set up a time to meet. Here is a link to that application https://providenceac.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/Adoption-Profile.pdf xoxo Bahama Mama
PS – this island girl has some special friends who want to make sure she finds that perfect forever home therefore her perfect new family can adopt her for no adoption fee!
Providence Animal Center relies on adoption fees and donations to save pets! Adoption fees vary per pet. To find out this pet’s adoption fee or for more information, please call the Adoption Center with this pet’s ID number.
Come stop by! We highly encourage prospective adopters to visit the Adoption Center as many times as they like to find the best pet to match their home and lifestyle. It’s our goal to make a perfect match the first time! Once you find a pet and fall in love, our trained adoption associates & counselors will be happy to assist you with the adoption process.
Foster parents are always needed for kittens, dogs and puppies. Some pets need as little as 2 weeks of care while others may need a few months.
No matter how little or as much time as you can dedicate, there’s an animal that would benefit from your help.
Your generous sponsorship will help cover the cost of the adoption package. It will also waive the chosen animal’s adoption fee!
Pet sponsors receive updates about their sponsored pet and will be notified when that animal has found his or her forever home.
