Introducing Athena, a gentle and sweet 4-year-old female dog who is currently seeking a new loving home.
Athena is a sensitive soul who thrives on love and affection. She has a gentle nature and is known for her kind and nurturing personality. She enjoys the company of humans and is always eager to please. Due to her sensitive nature, Athena may do best in a calm and peaceful environment where she can feel safe and secure. Loud noises and chaotic situations can be overwhelming for her, so a quiet household or a family that can provide a calm and structured routine would be ideal.
Although Athena may initially be reserved, once she forms a bond with her new family, her true personality shines through. She loves to snuggle up next to her humans and will happily spend hours by your side, providing comfort and warmth.
If you are looking for a sensitive and sweet companion who will bring endless love and joy to your life, Athena is the perfect match!

It's so easy to adopt from PAC- once a match is made, you fill out an application and can go home the same day with your new pet! Visit https://providenceac.org/adopt/how-to-adopt/ to learn more about our adoption process.
Walk-in adoptions are back at PAC! Stop by our Adoption Center during our hours of operation Tuesday-Sunday to meet our available pets. Be sure to check the LOCATION of the pet you are interested in prior to coming in because some pets currently reside in foster homes. To meet a pet in a foster home, a meeting must be set up with our foster coordinator by filling out the adoption profile in the pet's bio.

Thank you for your understanding and please consider donating today to help our lifesaving work continue during this challenging time!
Foster parents are always needed for kittens, dogs and puppies. Some pets need as little as 2 weeks of care while others may need a few months.
No matter how little or as much time as you can dedicate, there’s an animal that would benefit from your help.
Your generous sponsorship will help cover the cost of the adoption package. It will also waive the chosen animal’s adoption fee!
Pet sponsors receive updates about their sponsored pet and will be notified when that animal has found his or her forever home.
