Gender: Female

Size: Medium

Age: Adult

Location: Foster Home

🐾 “Hi there! My name is Maggie and I'm excited to tell you all about myself!

I found myself back at Providence Animal Center where I was adopted as a puppy. My family loved me very much and took great care of me for as long as they could. I know some commands and I listen well both inside and outside of the house. One of my favorite things to do is to snuggle in a blanket and spend time close to my people.

Being a 6 year old, petite, 30lb lady, I have just the right amount of energy. I still like to run and play, but I don't require as much exercise as a puppy. I am gentle with people and toys, and I'm not destructive in the house. I enjoy the company of another dog so I wouldn't mind having a buddy at home to keep me company. I can be a little timid when I first meet people, but if give me a moment or two to sniff you I feel much more comfortable.

I love going for walks because I get to sniff ALL the things, and I get to see other people and other dogs. On bright, sunny days I enjoy sleeping in the sun, and on cold winter days I enjoy cuddling with you under a blanket on the couch.

While I am waiting for my forever home, I get to hang out with a foster family! They are great, but I do want to have a family of my own very soon! If you think that might be you, just fill out the Adoption Profile below. I'll have my people will call your people!!!

P.S : A generous donor has sponsored my adoption fee.  That means my adoption fee is WAIVED!  Woohoo!”

To meet a pet in a foster home, a meeting must be set up with our foster coordinator by filling out the adoption profile in the pet's bio.

View most of our adoptable dogs here and cats through this link. Once you see a pet you like, follow the instructions in his/her bio to schedule a meeting. For updates about when puppies & kittens will be available, be sure to follow us on Facebook.

Thank you for your understanding and please consider donating today to help our lifesaving work continue during this challenging time!

Even If You Can't Adopt, You Can Still Help!

Foster Maggie

Foster parents are always needed for kittens, dogs and puppies. Some pets need as little as 2 weeks of care while others may need a few months.

No matter how little or as much time as you can dedicate, there’s an animal that would benefit from your help.

Sponsor Maggie

Your generous sponsorship will help cover the cost of the adoption package. It will also waive the chosen animal’s adoption fee!

Pet sponsors receive updates about their sponsored pet and will be notified when that animal has found his or her forever home.
